"I am very fortunate to have,
so-to-speak, my in-house chiropractor, Dr. Franco Colombu, as my own
personal chiropractor. So, I visit Franco regularly, and he comes
over to my house. He adjusts my wife, my kids, me, everybody gets an
adjustment. And we feel always great when Franco leaves. Even when I
have athletic injuries he's always there for me, and helps me. So
it's really terrific, and I know that first hand. That's why I
always will be traveling around, all over the world, talking highly
about the profession of chiropractic. You chiropractic doctors are
really miracle workers, and that's why it's really great to have you
here, part of the Arnold Classic. Because, like I said, the Arnold
Classic and Fitness Weekend are about health and about fitness and
preventive care." "If it were not for Chiropractic, I would not have won the gold medal." Arnold Schwarzenegger |

Appearing in films like The Patriot
and Braveheart has taken its toll on Mel Gibson. "You get hurt all
the time. All you gotta do is just like eight takes of running down
a hill and you twist an ankle," the action pic veteran tells TV
Guide Online. "I got a chiropractor to come along to the [Patriot]
shoot, because they can actually stick you back together within 15
minutes. He used to come every other week, from Los Angeles to South
Carolina — spend a week and work on the entire crew. All the stunt
guys were like, 'Oh, fix my disc.' He's putting their discs back in.
The guy's amazing." Mel Gibson |

"Being a chiropractor patient has really helped me immensely." "...lifting weights and seeing a chiropractor on a regular basis has made me a better golfer. I've been going to Chiropractors for as long as I can remember. It's as important to my training as practicing my swing.” "Chiropractic care works for me." Tiger Woods |

"Basically, I've
always believed in chiropractic care. My parents introduced my
brothers and myself to chiropractic care when we were very young and
it's been an instrumental part of my life. I believe that it allowed
me to do gymnastics when I was very little and allowed me to stay in
sports and lead a very active lifestyle. I think it's natural to
have aches and pains when you bend your body in directions it wasn't
necessarily meant to [be bent in], so it makes sense to go to a
chiropractor to get my body back in alignment. Ever since I can
remember, I've gone to a chiropractor. " Ms. Fitness USA, Sarah Harding

Before I
had regular chiropractic care, I had only “first aid” type care a
few times prior. I guess you could say I was in a slow physical
decline. From childhood on, I was determined to achieve my goals and
desires, however it was becoming tougher – I was doing it with less
ease and good humour. When I began regular chiropractic care and
maintenance, it was not due to any crisis, but rather as a
realization that things couldn’t continue as they had been. I
immediately felt lighter, stronger and more aware of everything that
was happening around me. This included my body and its performance
levels, even my taste buds. I grew an inch at the age of 39.I became
far more energetic, clearer of mind and in time with the intuitive
component of myself. To me, this constitutes success - living life
to its fullest potential. Chiropractic has meant I have greater
resilience, quicker recovery from fatigue. I have a lifestyle that
in any one's estimation is hectic and physically demanding and I
found this no longer had any negative impact on me. Let’s be frank,
preventative health care and general well being are what society
needs, not more drugs or procedures that encourage people to hand
responsibility for their health to others. Chiropractic care has
only realized a small part of its true potential. I believe it needs
to be very clear and patient with its objectives. The great
temptation in this current era is for instant gratification and
instant results. Compromise is acceptable but never at the loss of
one's integrity. Chiropractic and other therapies will eventually
surpass those that don’t recognize the true nature of who we really
are. The ever increasing trend towards non intrusive, natural health
care therapies simply presents an acceptable choice to the vast
majority who had placed much of their power in the hands of those
saying they have the answers. Vale Peter Brock |
